We're changing our name to Marrow. Rather than pick something at random, we looked for a word that fit what we do.
Marrow felt right.
The marrow inside our bodies quietly gets on with making the blood we need. It's not something you tend to think about, but it's doing useful work in the background the whole time. That's how we see our role: supporting the things people actually see and use, without needing to be front and centre ourselves.
We also liked that a marrow is a plant, the kind that grows steadily in the background of a garden while you focus on everything else. They aren't much to look at, but plenty of people take great pride in developing and caring for theirs, just as we take pride in growing our role in the ecosystem.
So Marrow isn't just a new name. It's a decent description of the role it plays, and of how we want to keep building.
